Art Ministry In the Community

Valour Arts is run by Gayle Grimsey in collaboration with Amy and Creative Arts by the Sea 

When : the first Sat of every month

Where : Beachmere Community Hall 

5 Progress Ave, Beachmere Qld. 

(Back room, enter via ramp right side from front)

Time : 1:30pm - 4:30pm (Arrive 1:15pm set-up)

 Social Meet ups-   - for those who would like to meet before this  BYO lunch/ coffee / chat  12:15  next to The Silver Spoon Cafe on 21 Biggs Ave. at Mazlin Park Beachmere)

Art Ministry

Location : Beachmere 

​

- individual or small groups 

- cost is by donation recommended donation is :

Individual sessions 1:1 $30 - 40/ hour

Group sessions of 2 to 8 people $10 - $40

- allow at least 1 - 3 hours for art ministry sessions

What can you expect from an Art Ministry Session?

 

Amy is a trained and qualified Creative Art Ministry Facilitator using Created Ministry Resources, you can read more about Amy's background and training here on our Meet our Artists page.

 

In a creative art ministry session Amy will prompt you with gentle guided questions and reflections as you create a meaningful piece of art throughout the session.

You will have the opportunity to enjoy playing with paint and/ or collage and plenty of freedom and choice of art mediums and will take home your creative art piece. 

 

Some common themes and areas for art ministry sessions are: 

processing feelings ,

disappointments,

letting go,

life event changes 

embracing change,

hopes, dreams,

fears

spiritual connection 

grief and loss

finding truth 

breakthrough

building connection in family and groups 

restoration of relationships 

and more!

 

This safe space is about the process of creating a place to encounter God through the creative art process it is not about art technique or skill.​

Prayer and Biblical reflection can be part of your ministry session if you choose.​​​​
